About

Veronica Hernandez was born in Jalisco, Mexico. She is a first-generation immigrant. When she first immigrated to the United States, Veronica spoke very little English. She taught herself to speak English and embarked on a long journey of self-improvement. Despite the challenges, she has excelled in every endeavor she attempted.

Before coming to the United States, Veronica attended the University of Guadalajara where she both studied and taught underprivileged elementary children. In 2000, she graduated from Compton Community College with a certificate as an Accounting Specialist, Bookkeeper and Accounting Clerk. She later received her certified paralegal training from the Mennonite Network in Pennsylvania.

Veronica is the Office Manager and Senior Paralegal. She currently handles nonimmigrant, immigrant petitions, DACA and adjustment of status petitions among other essential processes. Veronica is our “resident expert” helping 100’s of immigrants who have had to go back to Ciudad Juarez to get their green cards.

Veronica joined Affordable Immigration in 2009 because she has a passion to help others as a result of her own personal life experiences and believes that faith in God is one of the most important things in life. In her spare time, Veronica is also a Certified Life Coach with a Focus on End of Life Care and Grief Counseling.
